After a two-goal lead, Cliffe had to claw their way back into the game to get a 4-all draw. This was the second game to take place at Cliffe Park that day, following the first team’s match versus Tate & Lyle FC. (Tate & Lyle Report)

Cliffe went 2-nil up after a first half brace from Horner but saw this lead turn and found themselves 4-2 behind, but after a fightback managed to get a draw. R. Taylor grabbed Cliffe’s third and Butler salvaged the draw for Cliffe.
