Keith Tiplady said,
“We are delighted to have been crowned Champions for a second successive season, although last season also brought cup success it is the league title that clubs truly chase, whatever division they are in.
The success of the last two seasons has alerted some of the area’s bigger clubs to the talents of our players, coaches and back-room staff.
This is very flattering of course but it is our intention to hold on to our assets by being a progressive club whilst others stand still or throw out strange ideas and policies. We have added a Junior section as well as a Sunday section giving us a huge membership and a ‘big club’ feeling.
We are proud to have become an FA Charter Standard Club and are beginning works at our Oxen Lane home to improve the facilities.
The future at Cliffe FC is very bright and exciting.”
