Cliffe FC 2ndXI vs. F1 Racing Reserves (H) 22nd January 2011

A four-goal display by Nathan Parker ensured Cliffe FC Reserves keep up their good recent form and remain second place in the league table
Gary Wilson writes…

Cliffe started the match slowly, and nearly paid for this in the first 15 minutes, when Ally Harris was called upon to make a number of first-class saves as F1 threatened to take the lead.
Cliffe finally started to play well as the game progressed and were soon creating chances, with Nathan Parker scoring twice before the break.
HT: 2-0

Shortly after half-time Parker got his chance to complete his hat-trick from the penalty spot, but his kick was saved by the F1 keeper. However, the referee had spotted encroachment by a F1 defender, and Parker didn’t make the same mistake twice from the re-take.
Parker scored his fourth, and most impressive, goal of the game mid-way through the second half, before substitute Milner cut in from the left and curled a right-footed shot inside the post to complete the scoring.
